A place to lay my head......at least for now

After much stress and searching, I have found a place to live for the first month or so! Whew!!!! What a huge relief! The property is a 2 bedroom house in a conservation area of Reading, a 10 min walk from town centre, and close to rail and bus lines. And in true Dani fashion, its right down the road from the local hospital :D

On to more news.....my travel card is already pretty full for March. I start work on the 1st, then I am headed to Galway, Ireland on March 9, and then off to Dassel, Germany on March 16. I was lucky enough to visit Galway with Missy in Jan 2008, and can't wait to go back! Germany will be a brand new adventure for me. Luckily, the hotel where I will be staying is in Einbeck, which is home to a 600 year old brewery......I think I am going to have to make time for a visit!

Have visa, will travel!!

So the paperwork is finally through, and I have in hand a Resident Visa for the UK valid until Feb 2013. Move date is set for Feb 26th, and I start work on March 1st. I will be living in Reading, UK (http://www.livingreading.co.uk/visit). So far, I have work getting scheduled in Ireland, Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands. And that is all before September!!
